Deliver Your First Photo Album with 5AM

Start with five photos from one shoot. You do not need to move your entire library to decide whether 5AM fits your work.

1. Create your account and upload a small album

Sign in to 5AM, create an album with a name you will recognize, and upload five photos you have permission to use. Wait until the upload finishes and the photos appear in the album.

The free plan includes 5 GB of storage and 500 AI credits once per account: 50 at signup, then 450 after your first upload or 24 hours. Supported AI tools can use these credits without your own Gemini API key. This first upload does not use AI credits.

2. Review one image and save an edit

Open a photo and choose Edit. Try a crop, an exposure adjustment, or a gradient mask in the new photo editor. Use Split to compare with the original. Local adjustments and manual masks do not use AI credits.

Choose Save copy to add the finished image to your album, then return to the album and check that you can find it. Save local draft keeps an editable version on this device; it does not upload or sync the draft. You can also use Download edited for a full-resolution JPEG, PNG, or WebP file.

See the photo-management overview for more about editing and library tools.

3. Share the album deliberately

Open the album’s sharing controls. Enter the recipient’s email and select Viewer for viewing or Editor when they should also be able to contribute. Review the generated invitation or sharing link before sending it. A public link is a separate sharing choice; creating an album does not by itself invite someone. For a first trial, use a collaborator you can ask to confirm that the album opens successfully.

If you choose a public link, anyone who has it may be able to view the shared content. Review the sharing settings before sending client work. You can change or revoke access later.

You have finished the first workflow when the intended recipient can view the album. An upload alone is only the first step.

Optional: find a photo by its contents

Ordinary library browsing works without AI. To search by meaning, follow the semantic-search setup guide. Indexing and semantic queries use AI credits, or Google bills usage directly if you choose your own API key. Check your remaining AI credits in Settings before indexing an album.

Need more? You can buy more AI credits in Billing settings.

Decide whether it earns a place in your next shoot

Try the same upload-and-deliver workflow on a second project. Compare it with what you use today: could you locate the right image, did sharing work, and did the recipient get what they needed?

Stay on Free while evaluating. Compare plans when you need more storage, monthly AI credits, or a paid capability. Standard, Premium, and Ultra include 1,000, 3,000, and 5,000 AI credits per month respectively. Unused monthly credits do not roll over. Your Free allowance is one time; it does not refill if you return to Free.

Get help with one project. Tell us which step you reached and where you got stuck; do not email API keys or private client files.
